Published Sun. Nov 2nd, 2025 Oklahoma Surprises Tennessee On Rocky Top 33-27

Not even the most die hard Sooner fan really expected Oklahoma to leave Tennessee with a win. A close loss, maybe, but not a WIN. Looks like Sooner Magic has returned to the Palace on the Prairie. The Oklahoma defense was relentless, playing the best game of the season and Sooner QB John Mateer made the plays when he had to, still not a great performance but an impressive impromptu running game that stole the show at times. The win puts Oklahoma right back in the thick of the race for the SEC Championship and all but eliminated any chance the Volunteers had.

Around the Nation: Things are shackin and bakin in the ACC. Georgia Tech fell from the graces of the undefeated at the hands of NC State 48-36 and SMU, who lost just last week to Wake Forest 13-12, shocked Miami (Fla.) 26-20 in overtime. In the AAC Navy also lost their first game, falling 31-17 to North Texas. In the Big 10 Ohio State and Indiana appear headed for a collision course, both still undefeated heading into November. In the Big 12 BYU was idle so still unbeaten heading into a huge game with Texas Tech, 43-20 winner over Kansas State. College Gameday will be in Lubbock for the game. Utah blasted Cincinnati 45-14. Could there be another Holy War Part 2 in the making? In the SEC most of the contenders were idle. Texas A&M, Alabama and LSU watched as Georgia squeaked by Florida 24-20.  Vanderbilt almost pulled off an upset for the ages, behind 34-10 the Commodores eventually ran out of time, falling to Texas 34-31. Ole Miss took care of business against South Carolina 30-14.

Projections will post Tuesday. Enjoy your week!
