Published Sun. Oct 26th, 2025 Texas A&M Destroys LSU in Death Valley 49-25

The Aggies were able to do what few teams have ever done…… beat the Tigers at night in Baton Rouge. The first half looked like it may turn into a 4th quarter struggle, maybe even overtime, but the third quarter was all Texas A&M and the destruction was so complete I actually saw something I have never seen before in all my 50+ years in football…. the stands actually started emptying out in the 4th quarter. The game added enough to A&M's strength of schedule enough that the undefeated Aggies jumped Indiana to take the #2 spot behind Ohio State.

Around the Nation: As I suspected, the SEC is a free for all with good teams knocking one another off, leaving the conference with the real possibility of the championship game being fought between 3 loss teams. LSU, Oklahoma, Missouri, Florida and South Carolina have now become the spoilers. Texas A&M, Alabama, Georgia and Vanderbilt may soon find themselves victims. Georgia Tech just keeps right on Ramblin. The 8-0 Yellowjackets rolled over Syracuse 41-16. Surprise surprise, one week after being horribly upset by lowly UAB, Memphis beat league leading South Florida  34-31. BYU moved to 8-0 after a 41-27 comeback win over Iowa State, and don't look now but Houston is making real noise in the Big 12 after the 7-1 Cougars edged Arizona State 24-16.

Projections will post Tuesday.  Have a fun week!
