In the Pac 12 Washington humiliated Oregon 70-21 on the Duck’s home field and Washington State went on the road and shocked Stanford 42-16. In the Big 10, Ohio State and Michigan continued their dominance while the ACC saw some upsets that may turn the Coastal division race wide open. Florida State blocked a game tying extra point try late in the game to secure a 20-19 win over division leading Miami (Fla.) and Virginia Tech totally dominated favored North Carolina 34-3. In the Big 12 Oklahoma outlasted Texas 45-40 to win the Red River Showdown and in the SEC Alabama rolled over Arkansas 49-30.
