In a mistake ridden game Army made the last mistake, proving to be the difference in the final outcome. The Cadets threw an interception with a little over two minutes left and suddenly the Navy offense began to click, scoring the winning touchdown, then running the clock out. The stunned Army team could only watch as the final seconds ticked off the clock. Navy's defense was spectacular in the second half completely shutting down the Army running game. The win won the Commander-in-Chiefs Trophy for Navy for the second consecutive year.
The first bowl game of the season was played last night and saw Washington runaway with a 38-10 win. Washington finished the season 9-4, Boise State fell to 9-5. The Broncos join the expanded PAC 12 next year.
The next rankings will not be released until December 27 in order to include the CFP First Round, and as many Bowl Games that can be played before the Quarter Finals.
