It was clear from the very beginning of the game, Indiana came to play football. The Hoosiers were not intimidated by the defending National Champion Buckeyes. The Indiana defense smothered the buckeyes at every turn and as the game wore on into the 4th quarter mistakes by Ohio State made the difference, missing a short field goal to tie the game proved to be what gave Indiana all they needed to hang on to the hard fought brilliantly coached game. The loss will barely effect Ohio States playoff chances. It simply means they start #2 instead of #1.
Around the Nation: Conference Championship games played out as were expected except Duke who upset Virginia for the ACC Crown. The Bludevils however will not enter the CFP as James Madison will finish ranked higher, thus voiding the ACC automatic bid. The 12 playoff teams, plus the Bowl Games will be announced beginning at 11AM CT today on ESPN. Projections for Army/Navy will post tomorrow and the Bowl Games the next week.
