Published Sun. Oct 25th, 2020 Buckeyes Blast Huskers 52-17 as Big 10 Begins 2020 Play

Ohio State made a big statement Saturday as the Big 10 season finally got underway. The Buckeyes made sure the nation is aware: Ohio State is definitely a national title contender. The Buckeyes ran all over Nebraska in the 2020 season opener 52-17. But the Big 10 season opened with some shockers as well. Indiana surprised visiting Penn State 36-35 on the heels of a late very controversial touchdown. Rutgers traveled to East Lansing and upended Michigan State 38-27 and Purdue upset Iowa 24-20. Around the Nation: The Mountain West also began play. Boise State kicked off what they hope to be a CFP season by blasting Utah State 42-13. In the ACC both Clemson and Notre Dame continued undefeated marching towards their November clash. Cincinnati topped SMU in a battle of Conference USA unbeaten teams 42-13.
