Sooners Shock Longhorns with Walk off Field Goal

The first half of the Red River Rivaly went just about as expected, Oklahoma was listless and couldn't get anything started. I sure would like to know what they drank at halftime because they owned the second half and the game ended with the Sooners kicking a 47 yard field goal with 3 seconds left to beat #1 Texas 27-24. It was the first time in the history of the series that the Sooners beat a Texas team ranked #1 in the AP or Coaches poll.
The ACC had a pretty eventful weekend. Louisville stormed back from 14 down to crush Florida State 44-20. Wake Forest handled NC State 38-14, and North Carolina went on the road and knocked off No. 25 Pitt 21-17. Georgia Tech gave previously unbeaten Duke its first loss, 28-25, Cal rallied past Virginia Tech 25-20, and Virginia slipped by Syracuse 28-25. Stanford had a rough day, falling 58-7 at Notre Dame. Biggest storylines? North Carolina's upset of Pitt and Louisville's dominant comeback headlined the conference.
In the Big Ten, the big storylines were UCLA's 17-15 upset of No. 13 Oregon, Indiana staying perfect with a 20-17 win at Nebraska, USC knocking off Penn State 31-23, and Purdue stunning Minnesota 41-13. Ohio State also took care of Maryland 45-16.
The Big 12 had a few statement wins this weekend. Number 8 BYU stayed unbeaten with a 24-10 win over Iowa State, and No. 12 Utah stayed perfect too, beating Kansas 41-24. Same for Houston. on the road at Kansas State. The Cougars won 35-16 thanks to four touchdown catches from Patrick Overmeyer. Arizona had one of the most explosive offensive showings, dropping 52 points on West Virginia. beating the Mountaineers 52-31 behind Noah Fifita’s 341 passing yards. Oklahoma State pulled away from UCF 42-28, And Arizona State closed out Saturday with a 30-12 win over Hawai'i.
It was a huge weekend in the SEC. Oklahoma stunned No. 1 Texas 27-24 on a last-second field goal. while No. 2 Georgia stayed undefeated and edged No. 6 Alabama 20-17. Kentucky upset No. 10 LSU 35-34 in overtime. Ole Miss rolled past Vanderbilt 52-17 and Missouri took care of Texas A&M 27-6. South Carolina upset Florida 38-19 and Tennessee rallied late to beat Arkansas 24-17. A lot of shake-up potential coming out of this one.
