After leading Alabama 13-0 at the half, it appeared Georgia was headed for their first National Title since the Dooley led Dawgs won it all in 1980. But in a bold move Alabama turned their fortune over to a Freshman QB who rallied the Tide to a dramatic 26-23 overtime win. It is the 5th National Championship for Alabama in the last 9 seasons, truly one of the greatest dynasties in college football history.
