The Grove at the University of Mississippi is described as one of the most beautiful places to visit in all of college football. I dare say that on Saturday night it was also the happiest place on planet earth. Ole Miss played one of the best games ever played at home as they beat AP #2 Georgia 28-10. With Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Texas and Texas A&M all battling for the SEC crown the CFP committee will have a fun time trying to seed those teams.
Around the nation, the Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech blew right through the Hurricane, handing Miami (Fla.) their first loss of the season 28-23. Army moved to 9-0 with a 14-3 win over North Texas. The Black Knights currently own the nation's easiest strength of schedule rated at #134. South Carolina put a halt to Vanderbilt's dream season with a solid 28-7 win in Nashville. The Big 10 is in full control of this weeks Billingsley Report with Oregon, Ohio State and Penn State coming in #1,2 and 3. not to mention 10-0 Indiana moving into the #5 position. BYU won the Holy War over Utah with a miracle 22-21 finish as time ran out. It was one of the most exciting games ever played between these two arch rivals. Missouri hosted old Big 8 rival , now SEC foe Oklahoma and came away with a 30-23 mistake ridden contest on both sides. Projections post Tuesday.
